Welcome to the Elmer Gantry blog

This is going to be a blog devoted to the new opera ELMER GANTRY, with entries from me, the librettist; Bob Aldridge the composer; and other people connected to the opera. Keith, our Elmer, and Jenny, our Sister Sharon, will certainly be posting (if I have anything to say about it.) Keep an eye on this space as we move towards our opening in Nashville on November 16.

Also a Novice Blogger, I am Malinda Haslett, and I have been graced with creating the role of Lulu Baines in both Nashville and Montclaire. Bob and Herschel, I wanted to express my joy in discovering this role with you both. I know several of the cast members already, and they are wonderful and will certainly give their all to make our efforts together turn into riveting and meaningful performances. So looking forward to it. All best,
Malinda
